This all started with Blue Planet.
We are all horrified by the number of plastics in our oceans and the quantity of plastic waste in general.
Shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, toothpaste and many other products contain plastics; water-soluble of course but it all lands up in our water systems and our oceans. Look out for dimethicone, a silicone product.
Suitably disgusted, I searched the high street stores to go and buy some good old-fashioned natural soap! Not as easy as you may think! Most of what you get on the high street is not natural and if it is, it’s not so affordable.

In comes the Internet! After some research, I learned how to make soap myself. It's a very enjoyable craft, for a fraction of the price. All the ingredients are 100% natural,  I have formulated a small range of soaps using natural ingredients. These include Honey, Aloe Vera, goat's milk and coffee grounds, sourcing locally where I can. I use our own honey in the honey range and Aloe Vera from my garden. Luxurious oils and butter such as Avocado oil, Shea butter, Argan oil and beeswax to name a few. Oils and butter are known for healing and moisturising properties.
I only use essential oils in my scented soaps using lavender, orange, and lemongrass.
All my soaps are wrapped in Garden Compostable Vegetable Cellophane.
