The Club has a vibrate social life with nearly a thousand members both sailors and social, within the Club we have a Dive, Bridge and Photographic Club. The Club race throughout the year with regular Sundays and Wednesday evenings in the summer, we also race in events away from Eastbourne ~ The Dieppe Dash, The Royal Escape, Round the Island Race, Tour du Ports de Manche, Falmouth Classics, Cowes and Ramsgate weeks.
The Eastbourne Spring Water Festival Race ~on Sunday 14th May~ will see our race yachts out in Eastbourne Bay for a 3 to 4-hour race starting and finishing just off the Water Treatment Plant at Langney Point. Its route should take the racing flotilla along the seafront. It should be visible to viewers on the promenade all the way as far as the View Hotel. This event is in support of Eastbourne Spring Water Festival 23 ~ “Take Action for our Precious Water” This event is weather and sea conditions dependent.
